Studio III-Semester I

Partnered with Yash Jani, tasked with creating an event space focused on integration with the landscape at The Des Moines Art Center and Greenwood and Ashworth Parks. As you walk from the Des Moines Art Center into the park, you will find yourself along a bridge to the entrance of our building. With a grand approach series of gates overlooking the entire park, we chose to create masses centered on the site's existing paths, topography, and flora. Creating massing that felt embedded into the ground, each facing the installations on the site.
