APARTMENT BAR

After making drinks in a crammed college apartment I figured it was time to level up the apartment. I knew I wanted to do some sort of woodworking after having baltic birch plywood leftover from a site model. So after having a concept I started learning and then modeling in SketchUp. To get precise measurements while in the woodshop and to make sure the joints in 3D could all work well. I was constrained to limiting dimensions with my plywood which is what led to the middle leg and furthermore the 2 cabinet design. A black stain was applied to the framing pieces to contrast with the light birch of the plywood. A thin epoxy coating was applied to the bartop since it will experience much more liquid damage. The overall dimensions were made for the bar to go in this spot within the apartmnet. Featured above the bar is the Bud Light Knight Helmet I made a couple years back :)
